How Well Do You Know Your Retained Search Firm?
Large retained search firms typically have slick presentations and are retained for hefty fees. At the end of the day, many times the people assigned to conduct your search are not the account managers you’ve met.
Here at Informative People, you will know exactly who will handle your engagement in its entirety, from search launch & candidate sourcing through interviews, assessments, and offer negotiation through to hire. While we can’t match the many thousands of hires of big search firms, what we feel really matters is that you have:
- selected a firm that gives you their undivided attention;
- works well with you, helping you improve your appreciation and implementation of improved recruiting processes; and
- consistently delivers new hires who appreciably raise your firm’s ability to perform in your market space.
We feel our recruiting track record and how we deliver a stimulating customer experience makes your recruiting team more successful in subsequent hires, whether or not you continue to use our services.

Working & Playing Together … As a Team
We have fun together, whether it’s Contra, English, Ethnic, or Scottish country dancing. We also love to camp in Zion and throughout the Pacific Southwest, taking hikes at Red Rock, Death Valley and crisscrossing both Arizona & Utah. Attention to detail is important, whether it be four-couple set dances, packing for an extensive week long trip far away from Costco, Walmart & AAA roadside service, or hiking along uneven terrain, while watching for rattlesnakes. The effort in our play time translates into our diligence as your recruiters.
We now have our son-in-law, who has added in his spare time motocross, body & wind surfing, along with sharp shooting to our family mix. Carlos provides his firm’s nationwide client-surgeons with product knowledge, training and procedural techniques for treating their patients, including operating room case support.
There’s never a dull moment in our work, meeting or speaking with prospective and existing clients across the United States, or friends anywhere in the world, incorporating our observations while at play into our technical recruiting.
“The supreme accomplishment is to blur the line between work and play”
